Ambassador Masaki's speech at the international symposium hosted by Kobe University

On 18 October 2022, Ambassador Masaki was invited to give an opening speech at the 12th Kobe University Brussels Centre Symposium titled " Blue Economy, Green Horizons:
EU-Japan Research for Healthy, Sustainable Seas and Oceans" co-organised by Kobe University and VUB with the cooperation of Kent University. The symposium was attended by about 130 people including Japanese and European researchers, practitioners and influencers from relevant fields, as well as officials from the European Commission and its Directorate General for Research & Innovation. The participants discussed a wide range of topics related to seas and oceans in the context of politics, economics; science and engineering; and communications studies.
