  The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu will virtually attend the Foreign Affairs Council of the European Union on the 25th of January from 10.30 am (CET). This attendance is based on an invitation from the EU and it is the first time that a Japanese Foreign Minister will participate in the EU Foreign Affairs Council.

  Foreign Minister Motegi will explain Japan's vision and efforts towards realizing the "Free and Open Indo-Pacific" and will have exchanges on this cooperation with the EU’s High Representative/Vice President and the Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the European Union.
