　On the 3rd of March, Ambassador Kodama gave a lecture at a Luncheon hosted by the Belgium-Japan Association/Chamber of Commerce (BJA), under the title of "One year after the EU-Japan EPA: where are we now?" Ambassador Kodama explained the history and significance of the Japan-EU bilateral relationship, in particular over the course of the development and expansion of the EPA, followed by a presentation from the European Commission which provided their perspective as well as a Q&A session.
