On 3rd May, the Japanese Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy, Mr. Takuya Hirai visited Brussels and attended a meeting with the Vice President of the European Commission, Mr. Andrus Ansip and the European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, Mr. Carlos Moedas. They discussed cooperation between Japan and the EU in artificial intelligence, research and innovation. The outcomes of the meeting are available here
