Ambassador Kodama’s Presentation at a Seminar organized by EU Asia Centre and European Policy Centre (EPC)
On 5 December, Ambassador Kodama participated as one of the panelists at a seminar on EU-Japan and EU-India relations upon the invitation of the EU-Asia Centre （Other panelists included Mr. Elmar Brok MEP and Mr. Gunnar Wiegand, Managing Director for Asia and the Pacific, EEAS ）. He gave a presentation on the strategic and economic importance of the Japan-EU EPA and SPA in strengthening the relationship between the EU and Japan based on shared values.
At the seminar, the role of Japan and the EU to counter protectionism and populism as well as the prospects for future cooperation were discussed.
