Hosting the Thé de l’Amitié Belgo-Japonaise
On 5 June, Ambassador Kodama hosted the Thé de l’Amitié Belgo-Japonaise at his residence. A total of 34 members of the Thé de l’Amitié participated in this event. Ambassador Kodama gave a brief speech during which he introduced the " Seven Wonders of Belgium Tour" as a way of enjoying one's stay in Belgium.
During the event, Mr Aymeric de Villoutreys and Ms Anne-Gabrielle Lia-Aragnouet from The Amôn Quartet and Ms Ngoc Phung Ha Thi from The Kwartz quartet performed a 20 minute concert of beautiful classical pieces. Afterwards, the guests enjoyed some confectionery including traditional Japanese sweets made by Ambassador Kodama's chef.
