On 22 February, Ambassador Kodama participated in the trade session of "CEPS Ideas Lab 2018" and gave a presentation in which he outlined Japan-EU initiatives on the free flow of data and Japan's leading role in promoting e-commerce. Following his presentation, Ambassador Kodama had a lively exchage of views with the audience who expressed their expectations for Japan-EU cooperation in promoting e-commerce and the free flow of data.
