Meeting on Japan's food additives
On 07 December, the Mission of Japan to the European Union and the Directorate-General for Trade of the European Commission held a meeting on Japan's food additives system from the point of view of relevant businesses in the EU which took place on the premises of the Mission of Japan to the European Union.
In the meeting, Ambassador Kono, Deputy Head of the Mission and Ms Billaux, Deputy Head of Unit of DG TRADE gave opening remarks, which were followed by presentations from Japanese government officials on food additive approval processes and risk assessment in Japan.
