Parliamentary Vice-Minister Manabu Horii and Vice-Chair Ambassador Kodama attended the 28th Energy Charter Conference in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, on 28-29December. At this conference, Ambassador Kodama was honored to receive the Energy Charter Award for Japan's contribution to development of the Energy Charter Treaty, and the 27th Energy Charter Conference which was held in Tokyo last year.
