Ambassador Kodama attends Meeting of the Delegation for relations with Japan, European Parliament (Strasbourg)
On 16th November, Ambassador Kodama made a presentation on the outcome of the election of the House of Representatives held on 22nd October to the Delegation for relations with Japan in the European Parliament. Ambassador gave his briefing on the outcome of the general election of the House of Representatives on Oct.22, 2017 , ,as well as on the on-going negotiations of the Japan-EU Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) and the Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA).
On this occasion, Ambassador Kodama also met with honourable MEP Moraes, Chair of the Committee on Civil Liberty, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE), and discussed LIBE' s recent visit to Japan and Japan-EU cooperation in the field of data protection.
