Japan-EU cooperation on data economy
On 20th March 2017, the JP-EU ministerial dialogue on data economy was held in Hannover. The Japanese delegation for this dialogue consisted of Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Seko, Special Advisor to the Minister, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Ota, Commissioner of the Personal Information Protection Commission Kumazawa, Vice-President Ansip and Commissioner Jourová.
In addition, a cooperative dialogue on the transfer of personal data was held between Commissioner Kumazawa and Commissioner Jourová. Ambassador Kono participated in the dialogues from our Mission.
