Seminar: Brexit and the Future of EU-Japan Relations
On 26th October 2016, Ambassador UEHARA, Deputy Chief of the Mission of Japan to the EU, participated in the seminar "Brexit and the Future of EU-Japan Relations" organized by the European Institute for Asian Studies (EIAS) and Waseda University. Ambassador UEHARA introduced the "Japanese Message to the United Kingdom and the European Union" on Brexit adopted by the Japanese Government Task-Force.
Professor Paul BACON (Waseda University), Professor Hidetoshi NAKAMURA (Waseda University) and Executive Director Tetsuo FUKUNAGA (Japan Machinery Centre for Trade and Investment) participated in this seminar and debated the impact of Brexit on EU-Japan relations.
