Garden Party 2013

The annual Garden Party took place on September 4th at the official residence of Ambassador Shiojiri.
A range of wines from Japan and the EU were served, along with sushi and traditional Japanese deserts.
The guests enjoyed highly acclaimed Japanese sakes, which won gold medals at the International Wine Challenge 2011 in the sake category. Experts were also on hand to provide information on the selected bottles.

Guests also had the opportunity to taste a range of uniquely flavored Japanese beers (cherry blossom, citron and plum), which are produced by a Japanese brewer in Belgium.
The large attendance at the Garden Party offered an opportunity to kick start the post-summer season.
