Recruitment:Staff for the Ambassador’s residence

The Mission of Japan to the EU in Brussels wishes to hire a residence staff for the Ambassador’s residence.
 
  1. Tasks
  • Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of the residence
  • Support the organization of events (official meals and receptions, etc.)
  • Assist in the management of inventory of wine and other alcoholic beverages
 
  1. Profile
  • Interest in Japanese culture and language, Interest in the development of Japan-EU relations
  • Experience as a waiter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French or English (specifying the score of TOEFL, TOEIC, language certificates)
  • Respectful, Courteous, punctual and efficient
  • Belgium work permit required for non-European citizens
  • Following knowledge and understanding are not necessarily required but a plus:
    • Diplomatic Protocol
    • IT and multimedia skills (PC, TV, audio etc.)
    • Japanese culture and language
    • Knowledge about table manners
    • Knowledge about wines and other alcoholic beverages
