Commissioner Georgieva posts haikus to commemorate the Great East Japan Earthquake

On March 11th, in commemoration of the second anniversary of the Tsunami that devastated the Tohoku Region, Commissioner for international cooperation, humanitarian aid and crisis response Kristalina Georgieva posted two haiku at the Haiku Post.
The Haiku Post was specially displayed at the Centre for Fine Arts (Bozar) during Japanese week.
Commissioner Georgieva kindly shared her haiku’s:
Deep within our hearts
We remember your sorrows
And what fell apart.Today we all pray
For a brighter tomorrow
Pain brings a new start.
